Schaum-Farrier
Mary Francis Farrier of Carmichaels and Brian Keith Schaum of Marianna were united in marriage on Aug. 24 at Calvary Chapel in Fredricktown. The Rev. John Thomas officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Elizabeth and Martin Keder of Daisytown, and Belinda and John Farrier Sr. of Masontown. Grandparents are Mary and Calvin Cox of Carmichaels and the late Shirley and Jim Whitefield formerly of Masontown.
Parents of the groom are Jacklyn and the late Richard Schaum of Rices Landing. Grandparents are Olive Hillen and the late William Rummel, both of Connellsville and the late Freda and Edward Schaum formerly of Masontown.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Janet Schaum of Vestaburg, sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Kristen Bilpuh of Point Marion, cousin of the groom, and Megan Adkins of Masontown, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Hanna Schaum of Carmichaels, daughter of the bride and groom. Her escort was Martin Keder of Daisytown, stepfather of the bride.
Serving as best man was Terry Schaum of Vestaburg, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were John Farrier Jr. of Clarksville, brother of the bride; and Richard Vernon Jr. of Daisytown, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at Overtime on the Mon Restaurant in Fredricktown.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and Fayette Vo-Tech School where she received a certificate in welding. She attended Westmoreland County Community College in 1999 to further her education in welding.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School. He attended Greene County Vo-Tech were he received a welding certificate. He also graduated from T.D.I Truck Driving Institute in 2000 where he received a commercial drivers license. He is employed at O.C.S. Transportation Inc.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Myrtle Beach, S.C.
They reside in Marianna.
