Ziots-Marcella
Maria Angela Marcella and Edward E. Ziots, both of Providance, R.I. were united in marriage on Sept. 1. The ceremony took place at the St. Anthony Church with the Rev. Edward Cardente officiating.
The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Fernando Marcella of Lincoln, R.I. The bridebroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Perry W. Gaddis of Hopwood and the late Edward D. Ziots of Newboro.
Given in marriage by her godfather, Domenico Rado of Florida, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown with a fitted bodice, chapel train and adorned with appliqued, seed pearls and sequins. A pearl tiara held a silk illusion veil.
Maid of honor was Jodie McMahan from Wakefield, R.I. Bridesmaid was Tara Pichette of Woonsocket, R.I. Flower girl was Alexandra Woods of Brownsville.
Best man was Paul Sprague of Brooklyn, N.Y. Usher was Perry W. Gaddis Jr., brother of the groom.
A reception was held at the Pawtucket Country Club.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She is a marketing coordinator for Maguire Group Inc. in Foxboro, Mass.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Penn State University. He is network analyst for Lifespan Corp. of Providence. He is also a captain with the U.S. Army Reserves.
The couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla., an eastern Caribbean cruise, and also a tour of the southern states.
They reside in North Providence, R.I.
