Arthur J. “Art” Tulley, 89, of Jones Street, Everson, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2002, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. A lifelong Everson resident, he was a retired coal miner and steelworker, last working with Duraloy Blaw-Knox, Scottdale.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Savina “Josephine” Szczygiel Tulley; three daughters, Virginia Williams and husband, Jack, of East Liverpool, Ohio, Roseann Tulley of Wynnewood, Pa., and Michele Tulley McArdle of Yorktown, Va.; a granddaughter, Christa McCardle; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, where a prayer service will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, with the Rev. Father Leonard W. Stoviak as celebrant.
