Bertha DeAngelis, 86, of Perryopolis, formerly of Monessen, died Saturday, November 2, 2002, at 7:08 p.m. in her son’s home. She was born February 29, 1916, at Monessen, the daughter of the late Stojan and Sophie Sudor. Bertha was the last of her immediate family.

She is survived by one son, Gerald V. DeAngelis, and his wife, Karen, of Perryopolis, Pa.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Geno DeAngelis; daughter, Delores Nagy; and nine brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 E. Independence Street, Perryopolis, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Paul M. Ragle officiating. Interment will take place at Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
