Sara E. Kalp, 87, of Mount Pleasant, died Friday, November 1, 2002, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. She is survived by her husband, Charles Leroy Kalp; one son, Vernon L. Kalp of Mount Pleasant; one daughter, Virginia L. Kalp of Mount Pleasant; three grand-daughters; three great-grand-daughters; and four sisters, Ruth Jean Hall of Greensburg, Dolores Early and Doris Hough, both of Connellsville, and Marlyn Sullivan of Thompson, Ohio.

Arrangements are under the direction of Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., 730 W. Main Street, Mount Pleasant.

Anthony Martin

Anthony “Tony” Martin, 81, of Acme, died Thursday, October 31, 2002, at his residence.

He is survived by one son, Mark Martin of Mount Holly Springs, Pa.; two daughters, Marlene Martin-Wexler of Philadelphia and Mrs. Tom (Shelia Rose) Lee of Plainfield, Ind.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; one brother, David Martin of Melcroft; and two sisters, Vera Kessler of Ligonier and Eva Grimm of Melcroft.

Arrangements were under the direction of Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft.
