Bullskin/Connellsville authority to extend sewerage project
n Heard from Dari Gilpin and Helen Palmer of Connellsville Township regarding problems Palmer said she is having with hunters and motorists using an access on her property to Route 119 and East Crawford Avenue that was created during project construction. Palmer requested that Widmer put some type of barrier to deter the access. Widmer said the firm recognizes there is still restoration work to complete on Palmer’s property; however, it has been delayed because of inclement weather. – Agreed to have Widmer draft an advertisement for a part-time employee responsible for budgeting and updating the authority’s records.
– Learned from Widmer that the Connellsville Municipal Authority is interested in maintaining the Bullskin Township/Connellsville Township sewerage system, but is not sure if the authority could afford it.
En Approved a $12,592 change order for a light pole that was replaced at Davies Ford along Route 119 in Bullskin Township after it was knocked down during construction.
