Cecil E. Grow Sr.
Cecil Earl Grow Sr., 62, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, at his home. Cecil was born on March 10, 1940, in Masontown, Pa., the son of John Grow and Mary McIntire Grow, both deceased.
Cecil married his wife, Rose Perkins Grow in 1959, and she survives.
He was a self-employed landscaper who enjoyed playing the guitar, working on cars and remodeling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by the following children, Cecil Grow Jr., of Brownsville, Pa., Todd Grow and wife, Lisa of Brownsville, Richard Grow of Brownsville, Robert Grow and wife, Jen of Uniontown, Adam Grow of Uniontown, Kimberly DeBerry and husband, Fred of Newell, Pa., Rose Lewis and husband, James of Brownsville, Eve Yoders and husband, Edgar of Brownsville, and Edith Grow and husband, John Sullivan of Uniontown; 36 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and the following siblings, Harry Grow of Grindstone, Pa., Mrs. Ruth Forsythe and husband, Tike of Nemacolin, Pa., Wilma Walters of Smithfield, and Freda Cummings and Mabel Moore of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichaels, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Barry Mohney officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Smithfield.
