Chuey-Nypaver

Stephanie Marie Nypaver and Robert Kennedy Chuey were united in marriage on Sept. 7 in a nuptial Mass celebrated at St. Therese de Lisieux Church, Uniontown. The Rev. Kenneth C. Zaccagnini, V.F., officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Eleanor Nypaver of Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of Dorothy Chuey of Uniontown and the late Frank Chuey.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, and Jerome Nypaver, her godson and nephew. She wore a white sleeveless gown with cathedral-length train adorned with sequins and pearls. A pearl crown with sequined rose petals held a cathedral-length veil.

Matron of honor was Debbie Hauger. Shelby Hauger was flower girl.

Best man for his brother was Robert Munhall. Groomsmen were David Chuey, Jerry Nypaver, brother of the bride; and Jerome Nypaver, nephew and godson of the bride. Nicholas Nypaver, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Uniontown Country Club.

The bride is a graduate of Geibel High School and Carlow College in Pittsburgh. She is employed at Nypaver Tax Accounting Service.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He earned a law degree from Thomas M. Colley Law School. He is employed with the DeVry Inc.

The couple plans a belated honeymoon to Providence, R.I.

They are making their home in Uniontown.
