FAYETTE COUNTY BRANCH OF N.A.A.C.P. will hold its annual branch elections at 7 p.m. today at the regularly scheduled November meeting, held at the offices at Community Action, 137 N. FRIENDS OF GOODWILL will hold a holiday buffet luncheon and arts and craft show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Uniontown Country Club. Cost is $10 per person. Tickets may be purchased by calling 724-439-3295. Proceeds from the art show will benefit the programs of Goodwill Industries of Fayette County.
LAYFAYETTE POST 55 of the Fraternal Order of Police will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Uniontown City Council Building.
AMERICAN LEGION FAYETTE COUNTY COMMITTEE will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Trotter Post 762.
WEST BROWNSVILLE CIVIC CLUB will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the West Brownsville Fire Hall.
AMERICAN LEGION POST 295 Ladies Auxiliary will meet Thursday. Christmas party will be discussed.
NORTH UNION LADIES AUXILIARY POST 8543 will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The district president will attend. A light luncheon will be served. Members are asked to bring a food item for the luncheon.
BENTLEYVILLE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS will hold its 11th annual Nite at the Races on Saturday at the council hall, behind Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville, Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Buffet dinner will be served at 7:15. Races begin at 8. Cost is $10 per person and $15 per couple. Anyone interested in tickets, may call 724-239-5742.
