Smitley-Henry
Kimberly Kay Henry and Mark Edward Smitley, both of Dunbar, were united in marriage on Sept. 14. The Rev. Larry R. Hellein officiated the service at the First Baptist Church, Connellsville.
The bride is the daughter of the late Effie and Frank Sanderbeck of Connellsville. The bridegroom is the son of Barbara Helms of Brenham, Texas, and the late Lawrence E. (Larry) Smitley of Dunbar, and stepson of Joan Smitley of Dunbar.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Dennis Basinger.
Maid of honor was Donna Knopsnider. Bridesmaids were Denice Scott, Sonnie Akers, sisters of the bride; Joan Smitley, stepmother of the bridegroom. Ashley Smitley, daughter of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Best man was Jim Albright. Groomsmen were Bill Beatty, Phil Akers, brother-in-law of the bride; Ralph Miller, stepbrother of the bridegroom. Travis Basinger, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Morrell Fire Department Social Hall.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Connellsville Area High School and is supervisor of D & S Associates/Pechins of Dunbar.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Belleville High School, Belleville, Texas.
He is a patient care technician with Fresenious Medical Corp., Brownsville. He is also a Pennsylvania state constable.
The couple plans a belated honeymoon. They are living at 102 Twin Oaks Drive, Dunbar.
