Mary Frances Dillon Whyel
Mary Frances Dillon Whyel, 81, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday evening, November 8, 2002, in Beverly HealthCare. She was born January 17, 1921, in Masontown, Pa., the daughter of the late William J. Dillon and Elizabeth Merck Dillon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Earl Whyel, her sister, Kathleen Kelly, and her infant sister, Loretta Dillon.
Mary Frances was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and The Jefferson Club.
She is survived by her loving children: Margaret Whyel of Smithfield, Pa., Vincent Whyel of Concord, North Carolina, and Mark Whyel and his wife, Patricia, of Grindstone, Pa.; grandchildren: Cheri Grubbs, Gretchen Grubbs Belan and her husband Richard, Zachary Whyel, Matthew Whyel, and Gary Winner; brothers and sisters: William Dillon of Uniontown, Elizabeth Murtha and her husband, John, of Uniontown, Eleanor Dillon of Greensburg, Pa., Patricia Lombardo of Orchard Lake, Pontiac, Michigan, Vincent Dillon of Mount Pleasant, Pa., James Dillon of Chalk Hill, Pa., Florence Sidorowicz and her husband, Henry, of Long Beach, New York, and Paul Dillon of Uniontown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 12, until 9 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson Street, withRev. Fr. William J. Kiel as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Parish Wake Service will be held today at 3 p.m.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
