Robert Guy Provance
Robert Guy Provance, 81, of Dunbar, Pa., died Sunday, November 10, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born January 4, 1921, in Dunbar, Pa., son of Washington Provance and Rebecca Holland Provance.
Robert had been a Security Guard for Keystone Fireworks in Dunbar.
His wife, Lois Jean Spear Provance, died in 1994. Also deceased are a sister, Goldie Leapline, a brother, Raymond Provance, half brothers, Lindley Franks and Paul Provance, and his parents.
He is survived by his beloved children: Cheryl Wolfe, Dunbar, Bobbi Jean and her husband, Frank Smiley, Dunbar, Robert E. Provance and wife Cindy, Greensburg, Pa., Bruce Provance, Dunbar, Wilma and her husband Richard Keller, Farmington, Pa, Patty Matthews, Dunbar, Gary Provance and wife Cheri, Uniontown, Pa., David Provance and wife Melinda, Uniontown, and Lisa Scholz, Dunbar; a sister, Ethel Colinay, Uniontown; a sister-in-law, Frances Provance; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 13, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Robert Wrachford officiating.
Interment will follow in Cove Run Cemetery.
