Alice A. Moser Carson, 70, of Rochester, Minnesota, died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at Samaritan Bethany Home on 8th, Rochester, Minnesota after a lengthy illness. She was born June 6, 1932 in Uniontown, Pa.

She attended and graduated from high school in Uniontown, Pa. and from Rockford College in Illinois with her Physical Therapy Degree. She came to Rochester in 1955 to intern at the Mayo Clinic

She was a physical therapist at State Hospitals in Rochester and Faribault. She was active in church work and did interpreting services for hearing impaired and blind at Christian Summer Camps in Minnesota. She enjoyed all church music and singing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carson in 1987 and one brother.

She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mary Atkinson of Mesa, Arizona, Carolyn Rose Carson of Minneapolis, Minnesota and John Carson and wife Paulette of Oronoco, Minnesota; one brother Glenn Moser and wife Delores of Uniontown, Pa.

Friends will be received at the VINE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 428 Third Avenue, SW, Rochester, MN., on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Nicklas Mezacapa of Calvery Episcopal Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Prairie Cemetery, Cascade Township, Olmstead, Colorado.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Research at Mayo Clinic.
