Gladys “Sis” Astle
Gladys “Sis” Astle, 85, of Fayette City, Pa., died Sunday, November 10, 2002 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa. She was a member of the Little Redstone Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, two sons, John W. Astle Jr. and James Astle; five daughters, Joann Neff, Kay Brinkman, Karen Evans, Kathy Sweitzer and Darla Sobek; one brother Donald Hall; one sister Loretta Lasley; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 11 a.m. the hour of services in the funeral home.
