R.G. Rudy Lindquist, 89, formerly of North Myrtle Beach, S. C., Uniontown, Pa. and Waynesburg, Pa. passed away Sunday, November 10, 2002 at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born March 19, 1913 in Camden, New Jersey.

Rudy is loved and survived by his wife Naomi McGill Lindquist of Morgantown; one son Pete and daughter-in-law Jan and one grandson, Matt Lindquist all of Upper Marboro, Md.; two stepsons and spouses Blair and Kathy McGill of Morgantown and William and Marsha McGill of Nashua, N.H.; two step grandchildren and spouse Joseph and Tiffany McGill Jr. and Sara McGill; one step-brother Howard Froberg and family of Seabrook, S.C.

Rudy worked for West Penn Power Company for more than 40 years during his distinguished professional career. Upon retirement he was the well-respected Laurel Division Manager in the Uniontown/Mt. Pleasant area.

Rudy was preceded in death by his first wife Rhea Phalin Lindquist.

Memorial services will be held at the HASTINGS FUNERAL HOME in Morgantown, W.Va. on Thursday, November 14, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Kirk B. Haas officiating and Committal at Port Allegany Cemetery in Port Allegany on Friday at 2 p.m.
