Betty Fay Bloom, 75, of Latrobe, formerly of Connellsville RD 1, (Dry Hill) died Thursday, November 14, 2002, in Oak Hill Nursing Home, Greensburg. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William (Sandra) Roof of Latrobe; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers, Merle Bloom of Cleveland, Ohio, Frank “Junior” Bloom of Vanderbilt, Robert Bloom of Connellsville, Ray Bloom of Tennessee, Kenneth Bloom of Dawson, Melvin Bloom of Great Falls, Montana and Dale “Dutch” Bloom of Lycippus; and one sister, Mrs. Daniel (Carolyn) Roebuck of Massillon, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant, today until 2 p.m.
Gladys M. Boyd
Gladys Marie Guard Boyd, 79, died Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at Orangeburg Nursing Home, in South Carolina.
She is survived by her husband, Carson Boyd of Vacaville, Calif.; three brothers, Harry L. Guard Jr. of Denmark, S.C., Robert U. Guard of Mount Pleasant and Donald E. Guard of South Connellsville; and one sister, Louise Craft of Coco, Fla.
A memorial service will be held at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, on Monday, November 18, 2002, at 11 a.m.

Thomas Hagerman, 84, of Dawson RD, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, in Lint’s Personal Care Home, Connellsville.

Theresa I. Fetsco Schmidtke, 88, of Monarch, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, in Beverly Health Care Center, Uniontown.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Connie) Nebraska of Hernando, Fla., and Sandra Schmidtke of New Jersey; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Samuel Fetsco of Arizona and Andrew Fetsco of Monarch.
Friends will be received at Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St, Connellsville, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until Monday at 10 a.m.
