CHRISTIAN MOTHERS AT St. John the Evangelist Church, Uniontown, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the school social center, Jefferson Street. Members are to note the change in time. The Rev. William Kiel will be the speaker for this evening of recollection. Theme is “Trust in God.’ Regular business meeting will follow. Reservations for the Christmas party on Dec. 11 at the Uniontown Country Club may be made. WOMEN’S SUPPORT GROUP, guided by Domestic Violence Services of Fayette County, meets from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursdays. Call 724-437-2530. The group is open to women in abusive relationships.

SURVIVORS OF INCEST ANONYMOUS, a 12-step recovery program for adults who were sexually abused as a child by a trusted person, meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at Mt. St. Macrina Retreat Center, Route 40, Uniontown. For more information, call 724-628-4910 or 724-438-0686.

BROWNSVILLE WOMEN’S DEMOCRATIC CLUB will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Brownsville House, Cadwallader Street.

NEARLY NEW SHOP, held in the basement of the Hopwood United Methodist Church, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Clothes, jewelry and miscellaneous items will be available.

SUPPORT GROUP OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE PATIENTS WILL MEET FROM 2 TO 3:30 P.M. Thursday at the Center in the Woods, California. All caregivers are welcome to attend.

HOPWOOD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will hold its monthly senior citizen luncheon at noon Wednesday in the church social room. Trooper Brian Burdan of the Pennsylvania State Police will present a program on crime prevention.
