Uniontown Harhai promoted at NuRelm

Beth Harhai of Pittsburgh, has been promoted to alliance partnership director at NuRelm E-Business Software in Uniontown. She will be responsible for managing NuRelm’s channel partner relationships, and will assist partners with joint lead generation and sales activities. Harhai has more than 10 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development positions for technology firms. She holds a bachelor of arts in economics and communications from Allegheny College.

As NuRelm continues its growth from a regional company into a national one, additional staff will be added steadily. Future plans are to hire a number of new employees within three years, including software developers, engineers, project managers, sales and marketing specialists, customer service representatives, a network administrator and general office staff.

NuRelm E-Business Software develops a suite of mid-market e-business software. Kantorik honored at retirement

The new Postmaster of Hopwood, Keithette Quarrick, presents a certificate of service award to Dale B. Kantorik for retirement for of 30 years of government service. Included with the certificate, a letter from Keith Beppler, district manager, congratulated and recognized Kantorik for his dedication to the USPS and protecting the integrity of each piece of mail.

Kantorik had 10 years in the Army as a transportation movement officer when he joined the USPS as a sub, and soon after became a rural carrier. He plans to enjoy time at home spent with his wife Chloe, his son Jeremy and daughter Sara.

Uniontown

Rutter completes program

John Rutter from John Rutter Hair Design in Uniontown participated in a hands-on workshop to further develop his skills and knowledge of customized hair restoration. The one-day workshop took place at the Sheraton Gateway Suites, Chicago O’Hare Airport in Chicago, Ill. This workshop, along with many others, is sponsored by International Hairgoods Inc., the Minneapolis, Minn., based wholesaler/distributor of alternative hair products.

Mastering Hair Restoration/2002 consisted of advanced techniques used in custom designing the best options for every hair loss need, from four hairs to 100,000 plus hairs. Attendees also received hands-on experience in the latest methods of custom color choices and color placement, including natural color blends to current fashion color trends.

During the session, attendees expanded their skills to include advanced methods for designing hair restoration for unusual cases with challenges outside the norm of hair restoration. Providing options for people with unusual or irregular hair loss patterns, head trauma, and accident victims with specific prosthetic assistance needs were among the highly specialized topics discussed.

Rutter was presented with a certificate of completion for the course.

Malden

Deer Shop opens

The Deer Shop will open the first day of rifle hunting season on old Route 40, Malden, 200 yards from the Ford garage. The shop will offer deer processing with 1,100 square feet of refrigeration, 400 square feet of freezer space, a double number system, thorough washing of hair and dried blood and double wrapping and flash freezing of venison. Casing fresh sausage in five varieties and a complete line of smoke items will also be offered.
