Staying awake, raising money and awareness
Marc London is seen at the helm of the WVCS radio station at California University of Pennsylvania. London, whose father suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, hopes memories of his father – and bountiful amounts of caffeine – will help him stay awake and on the air for 120 consecutive hours this week to raise money and awareness to fight the debilitating disease. If he’s successful, London also would break a world record for consecutive on-air broadcasting hours.
