Goldie Mae Moore Hoone, 85, of Whitehouse, Pa., died Saturday, November 16, 2002, in Lafayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born Dec ember 27, 1916, in Smithfield, Pa., daughter of the late Ira Moore and Margaret Gagen Moore.

Goldie attended Whitehouse Free Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Hoone, two sisters, Evelyn Reese and Loraina Glover, and two brothers, Albert Moore and Donald Moore.

Surviving are four children: Joanne Voithofer and her husband, George, of Smithfield, Pa., Robert W. Hoone and his wife, Carolyn, of Smithfield, Pa., Mary Lou Malone of Uniontown, Pa., and Charles A. Hoone and his wife, Belinda, of Whitehouse, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Olive French of Vanderbilt, Pa.

The Family will receive Friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 19, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
