Paul Revak

Paul Revak, 75, of Fairbank, Pa., passed away Sunday, November 17, 2002, in the Uniontown Hospital with his beloved Family by his side. He was born May 26, 1927, in Footedale, Pa., son of Andrew and Anna Nitch Revak.

Paul was a member of Saint Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in New Salem, United Auto Workers, American Legion Post 51 in Uniontown, Newboro Indians Club, and Fairbank Rod and Gun Club.

He graduated in 1945 from Uniontown High School, was a Veteran of World War II who served with the United States Navy, and retired from General Motors Corporation, Saginaw Division.

He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter, Jennifer Joan, a beloved uncle, Pete Revak, a sister, Mary Louise Madama, two brothers, Andrew and Mike Revak, and a nephew, Gilbert Madama.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Crapp Revak; a daughter, Paulette A. and her husband, Charles Mehalik, of Uniontown, Pa.; a son, Paul Andrew Revak of Labelle, Pa.; three grandchildren: Kristopher Dugan, Andrea Dugan Marian and her husband Mark, and Andrew Mehalik; one great granddaughter, Olivia Dugan; two brothers: John Revak of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Joseph Revak of Masontown, Pa.; a sister, Irene Walters and her husband, Earl “Butch”, of Newboro, Pa.; several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today after 7 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 20, until 10 a.m. when Panachida will be held.

Divine Liturgy follows at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem, with Rev. Fr. Jerome T. Botsko officiating.

Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, where Military Honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 51, Uniontown.

Parastas will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 7 p.m.
