Benjamin F. Basinger, Jr.
Benjamin F. Basinger, Jr., 55, of Brownsville, Pa., died Sunday, November 17, 2002 iu Brownsville Hospital. He was born September 2, 1947 in Canton, Ohio, son of the late Benjamin F. Basinger Sr. and the late Florence E. Haney Basinger.
He was a self-employed contractor.
He was preceded in death by sisters Naomi Leonard and Mary Worry; very special aunt, Mary Catherine Long.
He is survived by his wife Loretta H. Christian Basinger; children, Benjamin F. Basinger III of Smithfield, Russell Basinger and wife Dawn of Philadelphia, Wendy Jo Basinger of Uniontown, Michael Basinger of Somerset, John Basinger of Pittsburgh, Jason Carpell of Cleveland, Ohio; step-children, Christy Christian of Youngstown, Ohio and Donald and Scott Duygo at home; sisters and brother Betty Lou Sullivan of Uniontown, Barbara Parker and husband Ken of Uniontown and George E. Basinger of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
