Donald “Keith” Fullmer, 77, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, November 17, 2002 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. Mr. Fullmer, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a life member of VFW Post 47, served during World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters aboard the USS Vulcan. He retired from Mallery-Fullmer Company, Uniontown, Pa.

Preceding him in death were his parents Henry E. and Jean Laing Fullmer; a brother Warren Fullmer and a granddaughter Jennifer Lynne Fullmer.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 52 years, Muriel Smith Fullmer; his children, Larry J. Mundon and wife Debbie of Miami, Fla., Marcia Fullmer Beck and husband James of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Russell K. Fullmer and wife Karen of Uniontown; grandchildren, Allicia Fullmer Hammarsten and husband Eric, Amy Mundon, Michael K.J. Fullmer, Nicole Mundon and Aaron Beck; sisters and brother, Rowena Fullmer Bowers, Ralph L. Fullmer and wife Nina and Elizabeth(Betty Jean) Fullmer Andrews and husband Andy; a sister-in-law Lei Fullmer; his many nieces and nephews and his faithful friend “Obee.”

Friends will be received in the J. HARRY JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Rev. Dr. Thomas Whitehead officiating.

Interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by VFW Post 47.
