Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following persons in unrelated incidents:
– Cory Nicholson, 18, of 202 S. Prospect St. for underage drinking after he was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 1, when police were called to the Prospect Street area in connection to a disturbance.
– Anthony French, 36, of 216 W. Austin Ave. for disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found to be creating a disturbance on Nov. 1 in Gibson Terrace. Police said French was yelling obscenities at other people.

Two charged
Police have filed charges against two teens in connection with an Oct. 19 incident that took place along Race Street.
– Jarred Anthony Pujia, 18, of 118 Freeman Lane was charged with underage drinking and possession of drugs after he was allegedly intoxicated and having 35 grams of marijuana when found by police.
– Scott Anthony Knight, 19, of 108 Trader Ave. was charged with underage drinking after he was allegedly intoxicated during the same incident.

House struck
City police said Richard Silbaugh, 36, of 11 Hazel St., Fairchance, hit a house at 75 Grant St. with a Jeep he was driving at 11:45 p.m. Friday.
He and his passenger were injured and treated at Uniontown Hospital. Police said the Uniontown Fire Department used a beam to support the front porch of the house.

Theft reported
City police said James Nagle of Uniontown reported Monday at 9:15 a.m. that someone broke a window on his car while it was parked at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 60 Morgantown St., and stole his wallet containing credit cards, driver’s license and $17.

Woman cited
Joni L. Minerd Moore, 24, of 255 Cleveland Ave. was cited for public drunkenness after she was allegedly found passed out in the Highland House on West Main Street at 1 a.m. Tuesday, city police said.

Assault investigation
State police in Waynesburg said they are investigating a report from Rhonda Shel Stohon, 43, of 138 Teagarden Homes, Clarksville, alleging she was beat up by a known man in his vehicle at 2:15 a.m. Friday on Clarksville-Marianna Road, near her residence.
The man allegedly hit her repeatedly in the head and face, but she managed to jump from the vehicle and walk home. She had moderate injuries and was transported by EMS Southwest to Brownsville Hospital.
Police ask anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-627-6151.

Citations filed
Harassment and disorderly conduct citations were filed against Kristen M. Teets, 23, of Brownsville and Jackie Teets, 47, of Markleysburg following a dispute at 241 Braddock Road, Markleysburg, at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 10, state police said.

Vest stolen
According to state police, someone stole a hunting vest owned by Rick Karpiak, 37, of Vanderbilt from his Reservoir Road residence between 1 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Man struck
According to Fayette County 911, a security guard at Dunlap Creek Village was struck by a hit-and-run motorist at 8:47 p.m. Tuesday.
The guard was flown to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a 911 spokeswoman said. No further details were available at press time.
Lower Tyrone Twp.
Woman shot
Phyllis Elaine Fisher, 68, of Dawson was airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital Tuesday night after she received a gunshot wound to the abdomen Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. at her Lower Tyrone Township residence, state police said.
After undergoing surgery, Fisher was reported to be in fair condition late Tuesday evening, according to a hospital spokesperson.
According to a police report, Fisher’s husband, Clifford Eugene Fisher, 69, accidentally shot her when he mishandled his .357 Magnum as he attempted to clean it.
The accident occurred at the couple’s 162 Upper Hulltown Road residence in Dawson, police said.
