Stella Wilma Gregg, 95, of Wood Crest Senior Living Center, Scottdale, Pa., formerly of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Mt. St. Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born Sept. 20, 1907, in Connellsville, the daughter of the late William R. and Sara McDonald Kooser. She was the widow of Thomas E. Gregg, who passed away on Aug. 28, 1991. They were married for 66 years.

She graduated from Connellsville High School in 1924, and was a member of The Faith Bible Church of Connellsville.

Surviving are six children, Sara Lorraine Addis and husband, John W. Addis of Vanderbilt and their six children, Mildred Marion Ritenour of Dunbar and her four children, Shirley Bonita Bankes of Connellsville, and her three children, Thomas Allen Gregg of Coraopolis, Pa., and his three children, Nancy Arlene Weltz of Connellsville, and her three children, Deirdre Jane Hinsley of Lynchburg, Va., and her two children; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Arlene) Persing of Pittsfield, Pa., Mrs. Clarence (Sara Elizabeth) Firsch of Sumner, Iowa, and Mrs. Ralph (Pauline) Lininger of Mill Run, Pa.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Darin Scott Weltz; a sister, Mrs. Hal (Laura Belle) Herrington; and four brothers, William R. Kooser Jr., John Kooser, Vernon Kooser and Burnette Kooser.

Friends will be received at THE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green St., Connellsville, today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Barry Witt officiating. Committal and interment will follow in Normalville Cemetery.
