Everson Lottery machine stolen

A Pennsylvania Lottery machine was stolen from K Brothers Service Station on Brown Street between 6:45 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police in Belle Vernon said.

Someone threw a rock through the front window after an attempt to break in through a side storage-room door failed. The Integra machine was valued at $3,500 and damages were estimated at $900. Also listed as a victim was International Game Technology of Harrisburg.

Burglary investigated

City police said Victor Gismondi and his wife discovered that their 58 Nassau St. house had been broken into Tuesday evening when they arrived home.

Police said a side door was forced open and many items were reported missing. State police in Uniontown assisted by getting fingerprints. The incident remains under investigation.

North Union Twp.

Car stolen, recovered

A car owned by Steve Louis Smith was stolen from his 702 Woodview Terrace home Monday and recovered Tuesday along Cleveland Avenue, state police in Uniontown said.

The steering column was damaged and several items in the car were stolen.

Point Marion

Cigarettes stolen

State police said two unknown males smashed the front glass door at Point Marion Tobacco and More on Penn Street and stole $3,000 in cigarettes at 2:52 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft reported

A broom attachment for a 1760XL DaeWoo Bobcat owned by Ritenour & Sons Construction Co. of Connellsville was stolen Nov. 11 or 12 from along Route 381 about two miles north of Mill Run, state police said.

The ignition on the bobcat was damaged during the theft.

Truck stolen, recovered

A 1991 Ford truck owned by Wilbur L. Lanko, 36, of Point Marion was stolen Nov. 2 and recovered the next day along Hope Hollow Road, Lake Lynn, state police said.

Citation filed

A harassment citation was filed against Robert D. Miller, 48, of Connellsville for allegedly shoving his daughter Britnee R. Clark, 21, of Connellsville at 6:30 p.m. Sunday along Broadford Road in Owensdale, state police said.

Wallet stolen

State police said a wallet containing $300 owned by Deborah A. Martinelli of Farmington was stolen from her car at the Perry-O-Motel between 10:30 a.m. and noon Saturday.

Tractor-trailer struck

A car struck a parked tractor-trailer Saturday along Route 40 neat Glisan’s Restaurant. State police said Sudhakar Chowdiah, 43, and Lisa Chowdiah, 34, were in the car, but the driver was not identified. Erica Lee, 24, of Addison was in the truck and suffered a minor injury.

Glass broken

A rock was thrown through the glass front door at Sweet Pea’s Foodmart at the intersection of routes 21 and 166 at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

One-car accident

State police said Jason McNight of Mount Pleasant suffered a minor injury Nov. 12 at 4:20 a.m. when he struck a concrete storage shed along Route 982.

Retail theft

Four people left the Eat N Park restaurant without paying their bills Nov. 15 at 4 a.m., state police said.

Smithfield

Damages reported

State police said someone made several scratches on a car owned by Edward Stephanick, 87, of Liberty Street and bent a metal banister at his home between 6 and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 10.

Car vandalized

City police said Timothy A. Bradee Jr., no age given, of 261 Lincoln St. reported Tuesday at 10 p.m. that someone spray-painted an obscene picture on his father’s car outside of their home.

Theft reported

A 35mm Nikon camera and some change were stolen from Michelle J. Seehoffer’s unlocked car at 105 Spruce Way on Monday night or Tuesday morning, city police said.

Death investigated

City police said Kent Hart, 58, of 128 Walnut St. was found dead in his home Friday evening. Police said it appears he died of natural causes, but toxicology tests were taken and the results are pending.
