Local firefighters took to the high ground this morning as they battled this tanker fire near the intersection of Route 119 and Crawford Avenue in Connellsville. The accident happened just before 11 a.m. The driver reportedly escaped uninjured. No other injuries were reported. A number of local fire departments were called out to help extinguish the blaze and cleanup the spill of hazardous materials.
