Mary Ellen Workman Kelley, 96, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, in the Beverly Health Center. She was born April 4, 1906, in Oliphant, Pa., a daughter of the late Carl and Josephine Lehman Crawford.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Samuel A. Kelley; a twin brother, Perry Workman; and a daughter, Jean Bollig.

Surviving are five children, Josephine Young of Hopwood, Pa., Samuel A. Kelley Jr., and his wife, Betty, Maxine Fisher and her husband, John, Carl D. Kelley and his wife, Marsha and Joyce Faye Snyder and her husband, Charles, all of Uniontown; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ossie Solomon of Uniontown.

Friends will be received this afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m., in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown. Funeral services will be private with interment in LaFayette Memorial Park.
