Francis A. Vitikacs
Francis (Fritz) A. Vitikacs, 55, of Smock, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born June 13, 1947, in Brier Hill, Pa., son of the late Francis F. and Mary Shinsky Vitikacs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Eleanor Trynock.
Fritz, over the years, enjoyed the outdoor sports of hunting and fishing, and he also enjoyed golf and bowling.
He is survived by his companion of many years, Pam Weakland; two sons, Eric and wife, Hara Vitikacs of Smock, Pa., and Darren Vitikacs of Smock, Pa.; a daughter, Beth Weakland of Smock, Pa.; two brothers, Eugene and wife, Starlett Vitikacs of Coatesville, Pa., and Dennis and wife, Mariella Vitikacs of Rixeyville, Va.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Fritz will be dearly missed by Family and Friends.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 4 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. Hedwig’s R.C. Church of Smock, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. John Sedlak as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. A Vigil Service will be held today at 4 p.m.
