Mary E. Struble
Mary Elizabeth Hoover Struble, 95, of Norton, Ohio, and formerly of Fairchance, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, in Norton, Ohio. She was born Aug. 16, 1907, in Keffer, Pa., daughter of the late Charles Samuel Hoover and Emma Clifford Hoover.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, John Edward Struble; a daughter, Emma Jean Dunn; sons, Harold Lloyd Struble and John Wayne Struble; a great-grandchild, Joshua Schroeder; and brothers, Ed Hoover, Otto Hoover and Sam Hoover.
Surviving are two children, Samuel “Eddie” Struble of Norton, Ohio, and Karen “Kay” Long and husband, William Long of Norton, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Linda Nicholson Struble of Bethel Park, Pa., a son-in-law, John Dunn of Barberton, Ohio; grandchildren, Kathleen Dunn, Eileen Dunn Moen, Colleen Dunn, Marleen Dunn North, Kaleen Dunn, Debra Long Bauer, Lisa Struble, Jennifer Struble Kendra and Rachel Struble Schroeder; great-grandchildren, Jessica Moen, Emily Moen, Michael North, Cory North, Sara Bauer, Ryan Bauer, Jacob Kendra, Mitchell Kendra, Megan Kendra and Emily Schroeder; great great-grandchildren, Corbin Moen Williams, Mikayla Raymond and Rylee Mae Raymond; her brother, Verner Hoover and his wife, Lillian of LaMirada, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairchance.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church St., Fairchance, Pa., on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Russ Brown officiating. Entombment in LaFayette Memorial Park.
