Celebrating turkey day a little early
John F. Kennedy Elementary School students (front to back) Tyler Jacobs, Joe Core and Katie Hopkins get an early Thanksgiving meal at school. Second grade teacher Krista Bendik looks on. The students enjoyed the traditional fare last Wednesday during the special activities coordinated by second-grade teacher Kristi Todaro Sepic for American Education Week. The principal of the Kennedy school in Laurel Highlands School District is Jeanne Hager.
