Raho-Peretin
Melissa Peretin was united in marriage to David Raho on Sept. 21 in nuptials held in the First Lutheran Church in Johnstown. The bride is the daughter of Andy and Nancy Peretin of 406 Park Ave., Johnstown. The groom is the son of Robert Raho of 40 Gentile Drive, Uniontown, and the late Marilyn K. Raho.
The Rev. Robert Swanson officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Amy Peretin, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Dena Sobecky, Brandy Ragno, Colleen Lovejoy, Sarah Clover, Barb Duca, Chrissy Pellas and Heather Wadsworth.
Best man was Rich Venturella.
Ushers were Bernie Queen, Matt Kozar, Scott Livingston, Chris Cowan, Dr. Jason Strcula, John Scott, attorney, and David Roger.
A reception was held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Champion.
The bride is a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and Slippery Rock University. She received a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a caseworker for Cambria County Children and Youth Services.
The groom is a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and St. Vincent College in Latrobe.
He received a Juris doctor degree from Widener University School of Law. He is an associate attorney in the law office of David J. Weaver. He is also a part-time public defender for Cambria County.
Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple is residing at 121 Wyndemere Drive, Johnstown.
