Dr. and Mrs. James T. Rhoades of Masontown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Rhoades to Rick Brubaker, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick C. Brubaker of Western Springs, Ill. The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, with a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences and disorders and is currently pursuing a master of science degree in speech-language pathology at East Carolina University and will graduate in May.

Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, with a bachelor of science degree in business logistics and is a supply chain manager at Samina-SCI in Raleigh, N.C.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on June 14.
