Herbert O. Perry
Herbert O. Perry, 82, of Dilliner, Pa., died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Allison, Pa., son of the late Luther and Ada Clark Perry.
He was a Charter Member of the Taylortown Baptist Church, Taylortown, Pa.
A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army.
Herbert was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA No. 6159.
Surviving are his wife, Betty J. (Hare) Perry; two sisters, June Garrison of Bobtown, and Nancy Brown of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Leslie, Tom, George and Thurman; a sister, Kay; and his first wife, Freida Work Perry in 1974.
There will be no public visitation. Interment will be in Wolf’s Cemetery and will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main St., Point Marion, Pa.
