Raymond E. Fields, Sr.
Raymond E. Fields, Sr., 65, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, November 25, 2002 at Uniontown Hospital. He was born November 9, 1937, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Martha Baker Fields and the late Delbert Fields. He was also preceded in death by a son Jeffrey A. Fields and two brothers Delbert Fields and Richard Fields.
Raymond was a member of Central Christian Church. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and also served in the Navy as a SeaBees.
Raymond is survived by his children, Raymond E. Fields, Jr. and wife Lisa, Daniel L. Fields, Scott Fields, all of Uniontown; Ned Franks and wife Theresa of Connellsville and Lori Franks of Baltimore, Md.; daughter-in-law Marcy Fields of Uniontown; brothers Gerald R. Fields of Uniontown, R. Wayne Fields and wife Barbara of Uniontown and Lou Fields and wife Janice of Pittsburgh; a sister Lorraine Bradstock and husband Bud of Uniontown; a sister-in-law Pearl Fields of Hopwood; five grandchildren Jimmy, Randy, Lyndsay Fields and Mason and Colin Franks.
Friends will be received in the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 10 a.m. until noon the hour of service with Captain John F. Riley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa., where full military rites will be accorded by VFW Post 47.
