Beverly Reese Chaplo Ahmadian

Beverly Reese Chaplo Ahmadian, 66, of Brownsville, Pa., and formerly of Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh, Pa., died Tuesday, November 26, 2002, in Brownsville General Hospital. She was born on October 31, 1936, in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of George A. and Edith Skillcorn Reese of West Brownsville.

She was retired from the accounting offices of the United Steelworkers of America in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was most recently employed by Crosskeys Human Services, Inc. of Brownsville as a payroll bookkeeper.

She was a member of Tent #56, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Greensburg, Pa., and a lifetime member of Local 3657, USWA, SOAR, Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees, and the California Historical Society. She was also a member of Fort Burd Presbyterian Church.

Her first husband, William H. Chaplo, her parents and a nephew, Michael S. Kubizna, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Hamid S. Ahmadian; a brother, Richard M. Reese, and his wife, Joanne, of Heath, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley A. Kubizna of Hopwood, Pa., and Darla J. Perez and her husband, Louis, of Isabella, Pa.; and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

At her request, there will be no viewing, and the burial will be private. Arrangements will be made under the direction of the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fort Burd Presbyterian Church of Brownsville.
