Catherine L. Babyak
Catherine L. Babyak, 57, of Carmichaels, Pa., died Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at her home after a long illness. She was born July 13, 1945, in Waynesburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph Cybak Sr. and the late Thelma Marie Bowser Cybak.
She operated a day-care service at her home for 11 years until her illness. She was a member of First Christian Church of Carmichaels and enjoyed playing bingo.
She was married October 1, 1965, to Andrew A. Babyak.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Scott Babyak of Carmichaels; a daughter, Janice Marie Babyak, and her fianc?, David Baer of Crucible; two brothers, Ira (Skip) Cybak and his wife, Diana, of Carmichaels and Joe Cybak Jr. and his wife, Kate, of Carmichaels; a sister, Betty Ann Cybak Mallory of Carmichaels; one aunt, Jennie Dobbins of Carmichaels; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichaels, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Dominick Sgro officiating. Interment will take place in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.
