Roxie J. Nicholson
Roxie J. Nicholson, 58, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 26, 2002, from her residence in Point Marion, Pa. Born July 1, 1944, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was a daughter of Ruth Castelli Hall of Point Marion and the late Thomas Hall. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Roxie had a gift of writing and poetry, and during her illness, she carried on a card and letter ministry of encouraging others who were going through their own personal difficulties. Her thoughts were always of helping others.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gilbert “Gib” Nicholson; two sons and their wives, G. Clint and Joni Nicholson of Smithfield, Pa., and Joseph L. and Dawn Nicholson of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Jordan Lee Nicholson, and John Bozzella; and a brother, Terry Hall, and his wife, Sandy, of Midville, Ohio.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 2 p.m., the hour of service, with Evangelist Sandy Hall officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
