Jefferson Twp. Suspected DUI
According to state police, charges are pending against a Carmichaels woman who is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol when the vehicle she was operating crashed along Route 88 Saturday at 3:40 a.m.

Group cited
State police said Kathryn Sigley, 19, of Jefferson, James Airwyke, 40, of Waynesburg and two juveniles from Waynesburg were cited with harassment for a physical altercation at 311 Tollgate Run Sunday at 11:25 a.m.

One-car crash
According to state police a vehicle operated by John Bedosky, 19, of Jefferson crashed over an embankment at the intersection of Ridge Road and McNeely Road Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

Suspected DUI
According to state police, charges are pending against a Belle Vernon man who is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol along Route 136 Saturday at 11:55 p.m.

Trailer vandalized
State police said someone dumped two cans of paint in a trailer owned by Mather Recovery Systems along Fifth Street sometime between 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

House fire
Township and Everson volunteer firefighters responded to a fully involved house fire on Breakneck Road 9:26 p.m. Sunday. They cleared the scene just before midnight.
State police in Uniontown and Fayette EMS also responded. It is not known if the house was occupied. No injuries were reported.
Dawson
Bomb threat
State police in Belle Vernon said somebody placed a red emergency road flare with a piece of nylon rope taped to one end next to a 4-inch natural gas line, which enters the rear of the Linden Hall Hotel. It was found at 7:30 p.m. Saturday by Linden Hall security. The Dawson Volunteer Fire Department secured the scene and police removed the flare for further processing.

Man injured
State police said Harvey J. Mountain Sr. of Dawson suffered moderate injuries in a 3 a.m. Saturday accident in which he failed to negotiate a bend in Route 201, ran over a stop sign along another state road and hit a vacant building. He was flown to UPMC in Pittsburgh. His Chevrolet S-10 truck was severely damaged.
Police said the accident is under investigation.
Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department and Fayette EMS also responded to the scene.

Robbery, assault reported
State police are investigating an early Friday morning assault and robbery reported by Harry Jim King, 38, of Barcelana Street, Dunlevy. He told police he was robbed of $100 and assaulted by two men between 2 and 4 a.m. while attending a party on First Street, Vesta 6.
King was treated at Monongahela Valley Hospital for minor injuries. One suspect is described a black man in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds and a goatee, and the second is described as a white man in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 220 pounds and a beard.

Vehicle arson
Somebody pushed Roy E. Detrick’s vehicle onto Bouquet Street at Coolspring Street at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 9 and set it on fire, state police said.

Forgery investigation
State police are investigating a forged prescription from a known suspect for Xanax at Apothecare Pharmacy on Route 21 Saturday. Dr. Wilbur Z. Sine of Morgantown, W.Va., was also listed as a victim.

Burglary reported
A 2000 Honda 450, a 1995 Honda XR100 and a motorcycle helmet were reported stolen from Nancy Palmer’s shed along a state road between Thursday and Saturday. State police in Waynesburg ask that anybody with information call the barracks at 724-627-6151.
Coal Center
Stolen car wrecked
The driver of a 1993 Ford Probe sideswiped a parked car at 127 Water St., Coal Center, between 1:30 and 6:45 a.m. Saturday, left the car there and fled, state police said. The daughter of the owner, Rick L. Mechling, 1408 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, came to the scene and reported the car stolen, police said. Both cars had moderate damage.

Two-car accident
Timothy James Angelo, 20, and Margaret Camino, 82, were involved in an accident at 4 p.m. Saturday on Bull Run Road, just west of Sheplar Road, state police said. Angelo, one of his three passengers, Mathew Stephen Angelo, 21, and Rose Hughes, 95, a passenger in Camino’s car, were transported to Brownsville General Hospital with injuries. Both cars were towed from the scene.

One-car accident
State police said Rachael Stewart, 17, of Oliver suffered moderate injuries at 5 p.m. Wednesday when she struck a utility pole along Oliver Road. Her car was severely damaged.

Hit-and-run probed
State police said somebody struck the right front fender on William D. Thomas’ vehicle along Fairview Ave between 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Juvenile runaway
Nicole Marie Martin, 14, of Lemont Furnace ran away from her 229 Turkeyfoot Road home at 6 p.m. Sunday following an argument with her mother, state police said. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweat pants with an orange stripe on the side.

Assault reported
Joseph H. Rankin, 40, of West Brownsville reported that he was assaulted by a known individual at 4:15 p.m. Saturday along Main Street, state police said. He had a cut across his left cheek and a bruise on his upper left arm.

City police said Richard Lee reported that two juveniles shot out the outdoor lights on his North Gallatin Avenue home with a BB gun at 3:20 a.m. Monday.

Purse stolen
Emma Giberti told city police that her purse was stolen from her Connellsville Street home at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. She said she noticed the purse missing shortly after a visitor left. The purse contained credit cards, checkbook and less than $100 cash.

City police said Colletta Weimer reported that a Gateway computer and an Admiral VCR were stolen from her Lemon Street home through an unlocked door while she was away Saturday night.

Warrant arrest
Lamur Thompson, 29, of 25 1/2 Morgantown St., Uniontown, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Fayette County Judge Gerald Solomon in February following a 2:30 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on South Street, city police said.

City police said Brittany Winfrey of Whiteman Avenue reported Friday at 10 p.m. that her leather book bag containing books, notebooks, 10 compact discs and $40 from her car when it was parked along Edgemont Drive.

Emily E. Miller, 24, of Connellsville told state police her vehicle was struck by an unknown driver as she was traveling along Leisenring-Vanderbilt Road Friday at 9 p.m.

State police said Erica N. Keefer, 21, of Normalville was assaulted by a woman known to her during an altercation Tuesday at a residence near Route 982.

A representative of Haines Construction Co. of Uniontown told state police someone damaged some of their equipment located at their construction site along Gates Hollow Road sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Two-vehicle accident
State police said Richard L. Cramer, 42, of Connellsville and James R. Blackburn, 52, of Connellsville were involved in an accident Sunday at 9:35 p.m. along Route 119 near James Camper Sales.
Cramer was taken to Highlands Hospital in Connellsville following the accident, police said.

State police said someone broke the glass door at CVS Pharmacy sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Car damaged
Robert E. Lewis Sr. of Uniontown told state police someone damaged his vehicle at a location along Coal Lick Run Road sometime between 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 6:50 a.m. Monday.

No injuries
State police said Daryl Johnson, 17, of Smithfield and Allan B. Cartwright, 35, of Terra Alta, W.Va., were involved in a vehicle accident along Route 857 near Mud Pike Road Saturday at 3:35 p.m. Police said neither driver was injured in the accident.

State police said a men’s’ bicycle was found near 75 Cycle Ave. Monday at 11:15 a.m.
