Lois Ann Pope
Lois Ann McFarland Pope, 50, of 174 Old Salisbury Road, Grantsville, Md., went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2002 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. Lois was born in Uniontown and at age 10 she became involved with the family business, Hill Top Fruit Market in Grantsville, Md.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Pope; one daughter Sherry Regina Pope-Combs and husband Joe of Frostsburg, Md., two brothers Kenneth McFarland and wife Denise of Grantsville, and James McFarland and wife Melanie of Frostsburg; eight sisters Ambra Dolan, Linda Carr, Barbara Flanagan, Joyce Kamp, Terri Wiley, Sandi Carey, Peggy Kamp and Mary Paul; 37 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews and an aunt Janice M. Roebuck of Uniontown.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 10 a.m.
A Christian Wake Service will be held on Friday.
