ST. VINCENT DEPAUL CHURCH, Leisenring, will hold a soup and salad bar from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church social hall. Costs are $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 10 and younger. SOUTHWESTERN LOCAL TASK FORCE meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Intermediate Unit 1, Coal Center. SOUTH UNION HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1957 will hold their 45th-year class reunion on Oct. 19 at the Stone House Inn, Farmington. Cash bar is at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. Reservations must be in by Friday. For further information, call 724-437-4151.

COLONEL ANDREW LYNN CHAPTER DAR will meet at 12:30 p.m. Saturday for a fall foliage picnic at the Historical Mt. Washington Church, Route 40, just beyond Fort Necessity. Program, “Tour of Italy,’ will be presented by Attorney Paul Kreiger of Texas, son of the past regent, Martha Ralph.

FREDERICKTOWN COMMUNITY DAY will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street. Rain day is Sunday. Prizes, flea markets, food will be featured.

BROWNFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Willing Workers Class will meet at 7 p.m. Friday.

MORNING STAR GRANGE will meet at noon Friday for lunch. The business meeting will follow. Plans will be made for the All-Granger banquet on Nov. 2 and the Thanksgiving pie sale.
