Esther L. Kilo

Esther L. (Crump) Kilo, 83, of Palmer, Pa., passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Brownsville General Hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1918, in Puritan, Pa., German Township, daughter of the late Lester A. Crump and Rosella (Jones) Crump.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Crump, Lulu Mae Crump and Katherin Crump; and a brother, Lester Crump.

She was a member of the Palmer Community Presbyterian Church, and a 1936 graduate of German Township High School.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Kilo of Palmer; two sons, Joseph L. “Junior” Kilo and his wife, Marilyn of Seven Hills, Ohio, and Charles E. “Ed” Kilo and his wife, Wendy of Leckrone, Pa.; two daughters, Linda Vinch and her husband, Samuel of Palmer, Pa., and Rhoda Sichko McCann and her husband, Bill of Conneaut, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Crump of Cumberland, Md.

Friends will be received in the H. DAVID MCELROY FUNERAL HOME, 803 Main St., McClellandtown, tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, until 11 a.m., the hour of service. Pastor Rory Ruder will officiate. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
