Alexander V. Labin

Alexander Vince Labin, 87, formerly of Baldwin Boro, Pa., died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002. He was born Feb. 12, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., son of the late John and Mary Hostetler Labin.

Alexander was a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Y. Rimlinger Labin; two brothers, Walter and Merle; and a sister, Janet Schmidt.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Paul Wilson officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
