Kovach-Steinhoff
Gidget Rae Steinhoff of Mountain Road, Uniontown, and William Edward Kovach of Fairbank were married Sept. 8. The Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiated the service at the Fairchance Free Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Fonda and William Davis of Mountain Road, Uniontown and the late Edwin Steinhoff. The bridegroom is the son of Dorothy Kovach of Fairbank and the late Frank Kovach.
Given in marriage by her step-father, the bride wore a white beaded and sequin accented lace sheath gown with sweetheart neckline, fishtail hem, cathedral-length satin train adorned with pearls and sequin appliques. A pearl trimmed headpiece held a double full-length veil of tulle.
Tammy Burkholder, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Kelly Hostetler, Jacqueline Christopher, cousin of the bride. Peyton Burkholder, niece of the bride, and Delanie Hostetler, were flower girls.
Best man was Robert Kovach, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were George Saari and John Maczko. Alec Hostetler was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Lakeside Party Center.
The bride is a graduate of Tri-Valley High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from California University of Pennsylvania. She also graduated from Penn State School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse in the cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and Community College of Allegheny County. He is an installer technician at Charter Communications.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They reside on Morgantown Street, Fairchance.
