Nehls-Mongalier
Asbury United Methodist Church, Uniontown, was the setting for the marriage of Michelle Lynn Mongalier and Timothy Wyatt Nehls, both of Vanderbilt. The Rev. James P. Fogg Jr. officiated the Aug. 24 ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Judy Filitsky of Fairchance and Gary Mongalier of Hopwood. The bridegroom is the son of the late Kenneth and Betty Nehls of Uniontown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin princess gown with sweetheart neckline, short sleeves with seed pearl and sequin-accented bodice, and ending in a chapel length train. A headpiece with seed pearls and rhinestones held a shoulder-length veil of illusion.
Matrons of honor were Tera Scott and Pam Kumor. Bridesmaids were Terri Lynn Kingery, Judy Sova and Andrea Elek. Flower girls were Jheri Lynne Sierzenga and Tessa Sova.
Best men were Ted Sova and David Berwick. Groomsmen were Erik Trent, Mark Kenney and Jon Scott. Ring bearers were Teddie Sova III and Dominic Mari.
A reception was held at The Stone House Inn, Royal Heritage Ballroom.
The bride graduated from Fairchance-Georges High School and is employed at Hair Unlimited.
The bridegroom graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and Penn State University with a degree in electrical engineering. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is employed at Sony.
Following a wedding trip to Topsail Island, the couple is residing in Vanderbilt.
