John and Toni Thumma of Georges-Fairchance Road, Uniontown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Thumma of Findlay, Ohio, to Andrew Robert Griffith of Findlay, Ohio, son of Robert and Norma Griffith of Newville. The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Findlay and Winebrenner Seminary in Findlay. She is administrative assistant in the Church of God.

Her fianc’ is also a graduate of the University of Findlay and is attending Winebrenner Seminary in Findlay. He is employed at Bishop-Kandel.

A wedding for Jan. 3 is planned.
