Car stolen
Darrell Lee Greene, 40, of Uniontown told state police that his blue 2001 Ford Focus with PA registration EJN0328 was stolen from the Dairy Mart on Dixon Boulevard while he was pumping gas at 1 p.m. Saturday.
North Union Twp.
Quad stolen
Richard Lee Russell, 39, of Lemont Furnace told state police that his red 1986 Suzuki quad was stolen from the front of his Polar Street residence between 4 and 6:30 a.m. Sunday while it was chained and locked to the porch.
Springhill Twp.
Rowboat stolen
Carl Bezjak of Masontown told state police that his 14-foot metal Sea Nymph rowboat with hull ID No. SEAC0047B686 was taken from a field south of the Friendship Hill site between Sept. 25 and Oct. 3.
North Union Twp.
Man charged
David Ray Hickle, 32, of Uniontown was taken into custody by state police and charged with before District Justice Wendy Dennis after he allegedly choked and punched his wife, Christine Michele Hickle, 30, of Uniontown in their Wilbur Street home at 5:55 a.m. Sunday. Police also said that Hickle allegedly struck her five times with a stick that was 3 feet long by 4 inches thick. Hickle was arraigned and lodged in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $10,000 percentage bond.

Purse stolen
Lynn Diane Mayle, 46, of Chalk Hill told state police that her purse was removed from her shopping cart while she was inside Gabriel Brother’s store at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.

Attempted burglary
Mary Jo Lancaster, 23, of McClellandtown told state police that someone attempted to enter her Main Street home by forcing a door between 10:45 a.m. and noon Saturday.

Motorcycle taken
Keith Mayle, 48, of Hopwood told state police that his 1989 Kawasaki motorcycle was taken from his Lick Hollow Road garage between 6 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.
Menallen Twp.
Electronics taken
M. Albert John, 24, of Uniontown told state police that between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. his Route 40 home was entered and a variety of electronic equipment was removed. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.
Dunbar Twp.
Hit-and-run probed
Everett Elliott, 49, of Connellsville told state police that an unknown driver failed to negotiate a turn onto Twelfth Street and struck a speed limit sign and concrete sewer cover, damaging both, at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
North Union Twp.
Two-vehicle accident
State police said minor injuries were reported when a motorcycle operated by Ronald Porter, 35, of Dunbar and a car operated by Christopher Marva, 32, of Lemont Furnace collided on Pittsburgh Street at 8:26 p.m. Saturday. Porter and his passenger Tammy Porter, 29, of Dunbar received minor injuries.
East Bethlehem Twp.
Accidental death
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco reported that William John Gutosky, 28, of North Miami, Fla., was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma after a fall at 8:15 a.m. Sunday. Warco noted that a motorist found Gutosky lying alongside the southbound lane of Route 88 approximately 250 yards north of Vestaburg Road.
An investigation into the incident by state police indicated that sometime between 1 and 7 a.m. Gutosky was walking toward Vestaburg on a pathway in a wooded area when he apparently lost his footing and fell over an embankment to the side of the roadway. Warco noted there was no evidence that Gutosky was struck by any vehicle on the roadway.

Window damaged
John J. Tomotchko, 53, of Millsboro told state police that the front window of his West Main Street home was damaged at 4 a.m. Friday.
South Union Twp.
Purse stolen
Maryann Shell, 51, of Uniontown told state police that her purse was taken from her shopping cart while she was in Kmart at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
South Huntingdon Twp.
Minor injuries
State police said minor injuries were reported when Crystal Barnhart, 20, of Yukon lost control of her vehicle on Highway Street, Yukon, and struck a utility pole at 4:14 p.m. Saturday. Police stated that Barnhart and her passenger, Catherine Janitor, 21, of Suttersville, received minor injuries. Police said Barnhart was transported to Westmoreland County Hospital and Janitor to Jefferson Hospital for treatment.

Two-vehicle accident
No injuries were reported to state police when vehicles operated by Tamara Troup, 48, of Vanderbilt and Stanley Indyk, 47, of Elizabeth collided on Route 51 at 5:49 p.m. Friday.
Perry Twp.
Burglary
Gloria Condupa, 72, and Debbie Condupa, 39, of Belle Vernon told state police that their home was forcibly entered and photos and a jar of money taken by unknown persons operating a light blue van heading toward Fayette City at 9:20 p.m. Saturday. Police said the van had a broken passenger side window covered with plastic. The investigation is ongoing.
