Luther Earl Leichliter
Luther Earl Leichliter, 82, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, October 3, 2002, in the Uniontown Hospital Emergency Room with his loving Family by his side. He was born May 6, 1920, in Connellsville, Pa., the son of Alonzo and Cora Ella Leichliter.
Luther was a member of the Morrell Fire Department and the Connellsville Eagles.
His loving wife, Dorothy M. Strothers Leichliter, died November 8, 1999. Also deceased are his daughter, Barbara Leichliter Nicklow, his sister, Leona Marie Haney, and his parents.
He is survived by his loving Children: Ella Mae Rega of Scottdale, Pa., Leona Martin, Earl Leichliter, and James Leichliter all of Connellsville, Pa., William Leichliter of Uniontown, Pa., Dorothy Leichliter of Filbert, Pa., Mildred Montgomery, Robert Leichliter and Wilma Gail Cole all of Uniontown, Charles Leichliter of Fairchance, Pa., and Raymond Leichliter of Uniontown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Leichliter of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive Friends in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today until 11:30 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Gary Herring officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
