Marianne Slominsky Holt Battaglini
Marianne Holt Battaglini age 64 of Uppermiddletown died Friday, October 4, 2002 at her home. She was born on October 10, 1937 in Edenborn, PA the daughter of the late Stanley and Agnes Kapella Slominsky.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver F. Battaglini Two Brothers: Edmund and Richard and also her first husband Jack I. Holt.
She is survived by her children: Daniel V. Holt and wife Judy of Ohiopyle, Theresa E. Kalp and husband Rich of Warren, OH and Jennifer L. Holt at home and her fiance Steven Caulkett of Dravosburg
Also surviving are brothers: Bernard Slominsky of Vanderbilt, Karl Slominsky and wife Betty of Republic, Daniel Slominsky and wife Florence of Louisiana And Sister: Antoinette Markovich of Elizabeth, Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews
Marianne graduated high school in 1955 from German Township. She was a member of the Velveteers All Girl Orchestra playing clarinet and bass. Later in life she played the guitar and loved to sing and we will never forget the hours of enjoyment she brought to us. She was also a veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed at McGuire Airforce Base.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 680 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, PA today from 2 – 9 PM. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church, Republic, PA with Rev. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. A Wake service will be held today at 4:00 PM
