Margaret D. Pordash
Margaret D. Pordash, 95, of Charleroi, Pa., died Sunday, October 6, 2002 in Washington County Health Center. She was born October 26, 1906, in Leisenring #1, daughter of the late John and Mary Staso Duboy.
She was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church of Charleroi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Adam Pordash; one grandson William Pordash; two brothers Michael and Andrew Duboy; two sisters Emma Marcote and Elizabeth Dragan and one son-in-law Anthony Iacobelli.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law Arthur and Dorothy Pordash of Brook Park, Ohio, Donald and Eileen Pordash of North Charleroi, Ronald Pordash of Cleveland, Ohio and Adam Pordash Jr. and fiancee Claudia Herilla of Charleroi; two daughters and one son-in-law Dolores and Frank Geletei of Bentleyville and Irene Iacobelli of Oldsmar, Florida; one sister Helen Nocket of New Paltz, New York; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Pa. today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church with Rev. James Spontak, officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, Pa.
Parastas Service will be held in the funeral home today at 3 p.m.
